Thanks for turning me on to yet another great visual teaching tool!  I was in a meeting with some execs from Blackboard last month and I urged them to integrate more tools for visual teaching.  I have to say, my request was received with blank stares.  I think we really need to educate our colleagues, in all disciplines, about the power of visual teaching.  Math, history, geology, philosophy, agriculture, you name it...all disciplines can and should be taught with visual media.  Images engage students&#039; entire brains (instead of just the left side which is so privileged in higher education).  I too will keep my ranting going and try to convince higher ed leaders and educators of the importance of visual teaching.

By the way, any news about the Educause proposal?  And your students&#039; use of audio interpretations are GREAT...thanks for being such an inspiration!
