Ceramics

Ceramic is any of various hard, brittle, heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant materials made by shaping and then firing a nonmetallic mineral, such as clay, at a high temperature. Ceramic ware, earthenware, porcelain ware, and brick products are examples of ceramics.
