Dr. Karen Barber earned her Ph.D. at the Graduate Center, City University of New York. She is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of Art History at the University of Mississippi. Her work on interwar photography, photobooks, and photography and exhibitions has appeared in Exposure and Studies in Photography. She has also worked in significant photography collections in numerous American museums, including the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the Amon Carter Museum of American Art.
