Dr. Kristina Van Dyke
Kristina is a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Houston and is currently writing a manuscript on depictions of disease in terracotta figures produced in the Inland Niger Delta of Mali between the 11th and 17th centuries. She received her master’s from Williams College and her doctorate from Harvard University and was previously director of the Pulitzer Arts Foundation and prior to that, Curator for Collections and Research at the Menil Collection.
