Rachel Boyd holds a PhD in art history from Columbia University, where she wrote her dissertation on the Della Robbia family workshop and Italian glazed terracotta sculpture of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. At present, she is Getty Paper Project Research Fellow at the Ashmolean Museum of Art and Archaeology at the University of Oxford.
