Dr. Nader Sayadi

Nader Sayadi earned a Ph.D. in art history at the University of Texas at Austin. His research interests include power and patronage in the processes of making artifacts, buildings, and cities, technical analysis of historic textiles and looms, socio-political dynamics of center-periphery relations, and early modern global trade of fibers and fabrics/the silk world-system.
