About Nader Sayadi

Nader Sayadi is a Ph.D. candidate in art history at the Uniiversity of Texas at Austin. His research interests include power and patronage in the processes of making artifacts, buildings, and cities, technical analysis of historic textiles and looms, socio-political dynamics of center-periphery relations, and early modern global trade of fibers and fabrics/the silk world-system.
