Tuğrul Acar
Tuğrul Acar is a PhD candidate in the History of Art and Architecture and Middle East Studies at Harvard University with a specialization in Islamic art and architecture. His dissertation examines Mevlevi socio-religious architecture through the 13th and 15th centuries including the Muradiye Mosque with a focus on their patronage networks, socio religious functions and the practices of piety.
