Latin American Constructivism
Constructivism in Latin America rejected traditional painting and sculpture and sought to develop an abstract formal language structured from line and plane. This movement is known for its use of plastic and metal and other industrial materials in its search for a utopian ideal that could inform the young democracies of Latin America.
