Qing dynasty
Refers to the culture, style, and period associated with the reign of the Qing dynasty in China. Once again China is ruled by non-Han group, in this case the Manchus. Many of the best known artists of this period seek seclusion and subtly express disdain for the rulers including for example the angry birds of Bada Shenran. However, the court of this period also reflected an international aspect that can be seen in the influence of art of Europe.
