Dr. Lee Sessions, Permanent Collections Associate Curator, El Museo del Barrio
Dr. Lee Sessions is the Permanent Collections Associate Curator at El Museo del Barrio. Lee has previously worked as an Arts Administrator at Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition, a Database Consultant at Jonathan Silver Foundation, and as an Andrew W. Mellon Fellow at New York Botanical Garden. Lee has extensive experience in curating exhibitions, researching, writing texts, and managing art collections. Lee holds a Ph.D. in Art History from Yale University, an M.A. in Art History from New York University, and a B.A. in Anthropology and Psychology from Brandeis University.
