Dr. Marcela Guerrero, DeMartini Family Curator, Whitney Museum of American Art
Dr. Marcela Guerrero is the DeMartini Family Curator at the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York. Guerrero holds a Ph.D. in Art History from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She curated un mundo poshuracán: Puerto Rican Art in the Wake of Hurricane Maria, and Martine Gutierrez: Supremacy, at the Whitney, and she was also part of the curatorial team that organized Vida Americana: Mexican Muralists Remake American Art, 1925–1945 in 2020.
