Dr. Maria Castro
Maria Castro is Assistant Curator of Painting and Sculpture at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. She received her B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. in the History of Art and Architecture from the University of Pittsburgh. She specializes in late-nineteenth and twentieth century Latin American art and is developed her dissertation on Brazilian artist Tarsila do Amaral.
