Dr. Ingrid E. Mida
Dr. Ingrid E. Mida is a Research Fellow at the Modern Literature and Culture Research Centre at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. She is the author of Reading Fashion in Art (Bloomsbury Academic, 2020) and The Dress Detective: A Practical Guide to Object-based Research in Fashion (Bloomsbury Academic, 2015). Her research can also be found in various publications including Drawing: Research, Theory and Practice; Dress; Fashion Theory; and Museums Studies Journal. She formerly worked as a fashion curator and currently serves as the Editor of The Journal of Dress History. She received her Ph.D. (Art History & Visual Culture) from York University in Toronto, Canada.
