Sophia Maxine Farmer received her B.A. in Art History and Visual Studies at the University of Toronto and her M.A. and Ph.D. in Art History at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She specializes in Italian Modernism with an emphasize on Futurist art and literature, Fascist visual culture, and environmental art histories. Her work examines the socio-political structures that affected the production of artworks during the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.
