Dr. Emilia Mickevicius is an art historian who specializes in photography and modern and contemporary American art. In 2019 she received her Ph.D. from Brown University, where she completed a dissertation on the reception of the 1975 George Eastman Museum exhibition, New Topographics. She currently works as a curatorial assistant in the Photography department at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA).
