Dr. Andrea Achi
Dr. Achi is the Mary and Michael Jaharis Associate Curator of Byzantine Art at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. She is responsible for the care, study, and interpretation of The Met’s collection of late antique, early Christian, early Jewish, early-to-late East Christian and Byzantine Art. With over 15 years of experience in art history, archaeology, and museum studies, Andrea is passionate about exploring and showcasing the rich and diverse artistic heritage of the Byzantine world and its connections to other cultures and regions.
